One of the best things about this area......You can still drive on the beach! Although it'll cost ya!

I LOVE Wilmington. My future plans are to move to Wilmington and hopefully become involved with Law Enforcement.
If you live in Wilmington and have never been to Emerald Isle, SHAME ON YOU.
My family took a 1 week vacation to Emerald Isle and loved it.
The whole Wilmington area is amazing.

I spent my 21st birthday in Wilmington so at that time I appreciated UNCW but have been back several times since to visit friends and love the area for other reasons. Is it true there are quite a few shows/movies made there?

Was down on front street this past weekend. Little bit slow but it was still fun.

Don't forget Leland!

Wilmington is very cool, but if you are looking for a nice, quiet, retirement and golf community, you can just cross the Cape Fear and go to Leland. There are some nice communities there - Magnolia Greens, Waterford, etc.

I love Wilmington I think I would enjoy living there. I could hang out on around Front St.
all day. Like a high class bum.

Had to move to Raleigh to find a job. I've always said Wilmington is great if you're retired or an aspiring bar tender.

I would love to get back there somehow.
