When I lived on west yandell I used to go to Alameda street every saturday and sunday mornings after a good hangover. There is a taco stand on that street that makes the best barbacoa in el paso, and also menudo!

Great Stuff.

I'm sorry, but while Edge of Texas is slightly cheaper, they're certainly not better in my opinion. There's a reason Cattleman's is consistently ranked so high. Cant go wrong with a 2lb T-Bone...

Chico's tacos, it kind of grows on you. I love Cattlemans. Andre's pizza used to be good too.

Ok, now that i think about it more, there is one place that is a standout... probably somewhere that nobody's ever heard of.

La Union Station. On highway 26 in la union.

Typical authentic mexican food, but its really really good. Food tastes like my grandma makes... but better.

They have an amazing buffet on sundays, expensive, but worth it.

If you go, its generally cash only, ATM on premises, but it rarely works. (100 year old copper phone lines, go fig)

I lived there once upon a time and
Cattlemans was probably the best. #2 spot would be BJ's Brewhouse

It depends on what I'm looking for.

For Mexican - La Malinche or La Posta in Old Mesilla.
Steak - Cattleman's
Pizza - Andre's
Seafood - Pelican's
Barbecue - Famous Dave's
Potato soup - Jaxon's (with the green chile)
Burger - Cheddar's or Roscoe's
