I am a well certified mechanic and college grad and I still can't find even one job.
I have even applied at Circle K's and what not and still can't find anything.
The market is just not there anymore.

I miss the good old days when my wife could have supported me.

As a young kid I don't remember any working mothers at all. By High School my mom worked part time at Sears. My father had a supervisor job at Western Electric but he also sold homes in the evenings. I became the "landscaper" who mowed the sale home lawns at 9. The money was saved for college.

The quality of life got better in terms of better "stuff" but it took a beating on child rearing and relationships.

What's a ...well certified mechanic...?? In which field? Vehicles or other machinery?
Similar to a well certified plumber?
One can work on wells or certified for saying....oh....well..... orall's well that ends well?

The main problem with schooling for a degree, for example, ones' learned information becomes outdated after the 2nd year of schooling, therefore, as another example, after a 4 year learning curve, one may well have seemingly wasted one's time as one may well be only half edumacated in one's endeavor.

With such degrees, applying to lesser positions, one is usually seen as OVERqualified or OVERedumacated.
Such qualities USED TO BE FAVORED.

That was so long ago it feels like it was another life. The only person you should ever admit that to is someone who is obviously that way themselves. Others get intimidated too easily.
