Good shooting ranges in Erie?

I live in Girard and was member of the walnut creek rifle club and I am currently a member of the Albion sportsmen club in which their range is much larger going out to 300 yards vs the 100 yards in walnut creek. Im looking for something bigger now since 300 is far too short for my practicing needs and wish to shoot 600-800 yards. 500 yards would do I guess but the farther the better.

Anyone know of such a place?

It would be a good drive for you , but Ridgeway in Elk County has ranges out to at least 600 yards and maybe farther. Some National long range matches are held there. Ridgeway is close to the headwaters of the Clarion River. I've canoed it many times and it is a very nice area. Might even see some elk around there or a little further east towards St. Marys. There is a 600 yard range at the New Castle Sportsmans Club in Lawrence County but that would be farther yet.About 1.5 hours south from Erie. Thanks sert for the info ill look to see if its worth the drive. might be something to wait to do in the spring now. I shoot less but still shoot in the winter.

agree with ridgeway being pretty much the closest to us with that kind of distance range...

Sparty Sportsman club has one set up for 300yards, but if you wanted to set one up farther yourself you could go about 600

I just joined Walnut Creek and now I sent in an application to Sparta. they say they have targets 25-500 yards!!! Just got my first rem 700 last week! I love it!
