Beer Festivals/Events In Florida

I was just wondering if we could compile a list of small(at local breweries, tastings, food pairing events) and large(festivals, competitions) beer related events across Florida for anyone interested. I'm honestly not familiar with anything other than a tasting in Naples at the Decanted once a month for $5 and that's thanks to chrisguerra who's a fellow homebrewer.'

Jacksonville has a regular beer festival. The 2011 festival is on May 20th at the Veterans Arena:

Panama City has a few tastings a week, but they are never all that great. We need a brewery here!

I think it's great that most of the post on this forum are related to beer and beer drinking. I guess that is what you get when you cross promote forums.

Brewajas, there are quite a few beer festivals around Florida all year round. I suggest you google the topic and go from there. Some will not be very good so look for reviews before you drive all over Florida.

There is a BeerFest in Tampa at CentroYbor. Usually its in the March timeframe, but this particular one is alot of fun. Awesome craft brews too

The beer festival in Pensacola is a good one. Lots of breweries participate. Here is the website:

Every day at my house, we have a craft beer festival... funny thing is my house is also a brewery (sub-nano sized). Yep that was not remotely helpful.

I encourage everyone to check out OKTOBERFEST TAMPA!! It's a really big event with lots of German Oktoberfest beer, good music, brats and games. It's right on the water 1 mile north of downtown - so you can even get dropped off by boat!

The 2nd annual Oktoberfest Tampa event will be at The Heights Waterfront on October 14, 15 & 16 --2011.
