Florida Zoos - Florida

Wondering which is the best zoo, would love to take my little bro on a day trip. anyone have past experiences they wanna share??

the only zoo i been to in FL, was the Brevard Zoo in Melbourne. the zoo is separated by different continents, including animals from Florida. for small kids they have a pool you can play in and an area to pet animals. one thing i've never seen before is, they have a kayaking tour in the zoo. it goes throughout the place. we never got to do it cause, i think it closes an hour before the park closes, and we got there too late.

The Gulf Breeze Zoo is pretty nice for a small zoo. It's great for small kids and is kept pretty clean. My kids like the train ride quite a bit.

Unless you live in the Panhandle or don't mind long drives, it's probably a bit out of your way though.
