Please give me one good reason to visit Florida

The weather is great year round. Lots of beaches and parks. As far as east coast vs west coast....you at least have warnings in advance of a hurricane hitting FL as opposed to being caught off guard by an earthquake in California!! It does get hot in the summer but you could enjoy a beautiful day at the beach in Feb. while the rest of the nation is under snow!

Fishing. Swimming. Scuba Diving. Tanning. Surfing, (East coast mostly, sorry Gulf of Mexico) Everglades. Airboat Rides. Swamp Buggy Races.

Cons: Mosquitos. Thats about it.

I lived in daytona beach for a few years.
You simply must see a shuttle launch in person.
And go to the summer Nascar race in daytona.

But really, if you can get over the heat in the summer, the winter months are great.
