My search for a great Grilled Cheese.

Been trying different things with Grilled cheese sammachies.

First 3 are Sourdough with Racletta Cheese.

Mozzarella and Cheddar

Brie

Smoked Gouda with BACON.

The best so far is a mix of 50/ 50 bacon Gouda and Brie.

I like to kinda' keep it simple and just use regular white bread (sometimes whole wheat),
butter inside and out, apply "Velveeta Mexican" cheese and fry in a skillet.
Makes your mouth feel real good and tastes great......to me that is......

And, our original method for making the great grilled cheese........use the bread you like,
we use the bread as above, grate a pound loaf of the velveeta cheese, mix in a small jar of
pimentos, chopped.....and spread on the bread and fry in a skillet as above.....this was
always really good......you can keep this mixture refridgerated and use when you want
a sandwich....

The GF made these awhile ago:

Cinnamon-Apple Grilled Cheese Recipe | Taste of Home Recipes

The muenster is a safe choice; I think a sharp cheddar would make them great; some would hate it.

Well, we may not agree on a lot of things...but it seems we share a fondness for grilled cheeses. This may be the one uniting factor for this coming year.

Nah, now we're just gonna fight between the Velveeticans and the Cheddarcrats.
