I came over from this site from a beer making site. I have been brewing for about a year and use a RIMS system. I only know of one other guy that makes his own and am interested in finding others in my area that might be interested in having a few and brewing some beer.....Sound off.
Just made my first two batches ever. One was just a simple extract brew honey hef brew. The other was an IPA extract with specialty grains that I decided to modify a lil bit by adding about 4 oz of caraffe II to the steep. Loved everything about the beer itself, and am eventually going to upgrade to all grain. Hopefully I will end up with an AG system that is custom to how I want it, probably most similar to the Brutus 10 but with keggles.
Also came over from Homebrewtalk.com via TxBrew's message. As for how I brew, mostly Extracts, but moving towards AG once Money, Wifey and Father Time permits. =)
I just started brewing beer in September 2010. I about to keg my fifth batch this weekend. Currently I have only done extract, but I plan on starting AG in June when my last college class is done. Then I should bea able to have guilt free time.
I was directed here via HBT also.
My brewery and I have been displaced for the last 6 months as we build our new house, but I did just finnish framing up the basement today and have a dedicated beer room and wet bar
I too have come over here from HBT. I've been brewing since 2006. I did six extract batches then jumped into all grain. I now brew on a 20 gallon all stainless single tier system that I built myself.
