Last time I ate there I saw Moose Johnston putting away some enchiladas. I'm assuming they are still open. They have great food.

Yes Joe T. GARCIA's is still there ..A company I used to work for always had their XMas party there . Good food But they serve in cafotiara style ..
..2 meals ..Enchiladas or Fijatas ..Black or white ..
... But their Margaritas are great ... Just think of it as strong wine.
.......
..I've always felt like it was a real family restaurant .

yes, Joe T's is open.

But they do not serve their food cafateria style (like what Golden Corral does). They serve the food family style. All side dishes are served on large platters, just like mom does at home. It is similar to PF Changs, if you have every eaten there, but the main dishes are served individually.

One word of warning about Joe Ts (because people seem to not believe it), they ONLY take cash and checks. No credit cards are accepted! There is an ATM onsite that is rediculously expensive to use. If you go, make sure to have plenty of cash on you. The dinner is about $13/person, fajitas are about $15/person. Pitchers of maragritas are about $30 (and worth every penny.....I order one just for me!).

It's still open, down next to the stockyards. Very, very tasty. Like BJsWrangler mentioned, bring cash!

Yeah its deffinately still open. I ate there today. I also had my rehearsal dinner there 8 years ago, at the small church looking hall next to the main building. Awesome venue for parties

I never cared much for Joe T's. I tend to favor Fresco's.
