Off roading around town?

I recently got back into off-roading, after my last Wrangler was totaled. It has been years since I was able to go wheelin and don't know where any good, legal places are anymore. Where can I go put my "new" Wrangler through its paces for just a couple hours after work whenever the urge strikes? I live about 30 min. northwest of Ft. Worth in Springtown.

Go out to the old Ft Wolters Army Base in Mineral Wells, west of Weatherford. There is a an area over across from teh ruins of the old theater, that has some decent trails and a small wall. You can also access it from the back road of the base, where the flight line was.

Bridgeport off-road park is very close to you. They have a wide range of trails from 1-5. Deffinitely worth a look see.

I see your jeep entered the mud hole, but no pics exiting it. Did you make it?

ABSOLUTELY! Went in 3x's - 2 of those time IN the Jeep, once w/out. I had to walk in to get my sandal.

I did have to be winched out of one spot on 3F tho' - or maybe it was 3E. We figured it was time to pull me out when I ran over my husbands leg.

Looks like there would be lots of places in Springtown to run that jeep of yours... Go up to Boyd and run through a few their pastures! I am certain they could appreciate that.

When I was a kid there were so many great places to run our motorcycles
it appears that all of those spots are now full of houses...

Which engine & transmission does your jeep have?
