Abandoned Buildings

Do you have any abandoned buildings in your town?

Do they have a story? I've been reading up on ghost towns but it seems more and more even in populated cities there are abandoned buildings with stories.

The house next door. A big, beautiful Victorian. The people were good friends who suddenly moved. The bank rep tells me that it is structurally unsound. They plan to demolish it. What a shame. It was a rooming house years ago. The numbers are still on the doors.

I think this town is a junk collector.

We still have delapitated structures of OLD General Stores from back in the early 1900's.

Abandoned buildings are sweet!

We have a lot of them up here too and I'm all for upgrading and preserving them.

We have an abandoned hospital. Most abandoned places get torn down or rebuilt here.

Google Charles Camsell Hospital‎ for pics and info.

In my Home state,
there's a State Hospital that's been abandon since the 70's.

It's still there, but now being renovated.
