Charleston South Carolina, when I was there it was just beautiful, freindly people and wonderful beaches. Lot to do and see with great history.

Idaho Springs, Colorado and Silverton, Colorado are pretty much tied for my favorites. The road or train ride to Silverton is amazing coming from Durango.

Idaho Springs has a lot of good places to eat, and a lot of cool little shops and some nice scenery too.

I'm not sure if it's a city but Key Largo, FL. that place is amazing if you like beaches, warm water and scuba diving

love NYC, but haven't been there in probably 4 years (since the younger kids were born). But Pittsburgh will always be tops in my heart

Realistically, I will say Austin Texas. I'll probably retire in the Hill Country.
In Dream Land, I will say any town on Kauai.

I'm not sure if this counts, but my favorite place is Cruz Bay, St. John U.S. Virgin Islands.

I love the city of Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is a very pretty city. Unlike other big cities Pittsburgh is a very friendly city. If you make it to Pittsburgh in the winter make sure to check physical place. Physical place has outdoor ice skating in them middle of the city very beautiful and prices are great.
