It seems like a lot of cities are headed the way of Detroit. It's sad to hear it.

The county I live in is one of the poor counties of the state. We do have a beautiful city but it only has about 5,000 people resided in it. This is the biggest city in the county which is why this county is so poor but the city council can be blamed for the majority of the problems with the economy. We have had a lot of known businesses wanting to move into our community but the city council will turn them away because they believe if our community grows to big, there will be more drugs and crime in our city. The city council doesn't understand that the drugs and crimes are already in our community so they are not preventing anything. Our city council needs to change but the people on the council are old arrogant people who won't allow any new faces onto the council. They want people who share the same viewpoint as they do.
