I grew up in a small town in east Texas and now live in Irving. What I miss is being able to sleep with the windows open and feeling the cool, clean breeze hit my face as I dozed off.

I miss the small town I grew up in. How the avacado groves were endless. The avacado festival and MAIN street with NO traffic lights. Now, they have torn out the avacado groves and planted houses everywhere. In and out of washes, river beds and the like that only see water when it rains, but the developers call it "100 year flood"

That's exactly what I miss about Western Washington.
Having to run the A/C 9 months out of the year gets
old with me. It's February, and I've already had to run
the A/C a few times. At least it dropped back down in to
the 40's today.

A mayor and council that care about small business people. Now instead we have people that do their best to drive businees away, and be sure no new ones start.
