I think the fact that they are done with spray paint which is not very consistent from batch to batch makes them amazing. It is all how you look at it. Not all art resides in a museum.
A guy named Troy Lee (http://www.troyleedesigns.com/) would go around and look for graffiti artists then hire them for his design studio.

You got that right Brett. Most modern art doesn't reside in museums, it's out and about where ever you happen to stumble upon it. It's all about getting out there and finding it. Sometimes the journey is half the trip
.
I think it becomes vandalism if it is without permission on anothers' property. Just because it's vandalism doesn't mean it looks bad though! And if you have permission it doesn't necessarily mean it looks good!

The last street art I posted was obviously put there with consent from the property owner(s) and the municipal powers that be, in an attempt to stop vandalism.
Only truly sick people get the urge to deface something that is beautiful. But if you put a blank decrepit wall in front of someone, anyone, the urge may be to make it look better by whatever means they can imagine.

Yeah, I know... And the stuff you guys have been posting looks pretty good to me... I basically put off answering the OP.
