What is a typical studio apartment rent for in your town?

Curious to see the prices on a Studio or 2 bedroom apartment(utilities but electricity) are going for in your area? Hows the job situation?

$500 in Raleigh and I would say the job availability is 1 in 3 chances of getting hired somewhere.

Here in Calgary Alberta the average price for rent for a studio appartment is $705.00 (cdn$). The chances of getting employment here are on par with you in Raleigh.

On Oahu you'll be hard pressed to find one for less than $1,000. A normal two bedroom apartment runs closer to $2k.

EVERYONE has a roomie. I know some sailors and marines that rent big houses on the beach that have like 3-4 rooms and pay around 3-4k a month, but they'll stuff 5-6 guys in one house. or gals. whichever!

I don't know anyone who actually lives out in town by themselves.
