Need a section to cover North Georgia. - Georgia

Hopefully as this site grows there will be more forums dedicated to specific areas of the state. With just Atlanta, Augusta, and Savannah, there is a lot of the state that just gets lost in the generic threads at the bottom.

There are so many beautiful places in the North Georgia mountains that have absolutely nothing to do with Atlanta so posting there would just be lost. I'm from Dalton myself but any city up north would do.

Looking forward to seeing this site grow.

I would say the same thing... life is different up 575/75/400 we dont spend as much time down in the ATL because we have plenty to do up here.

A north Georgia section would be very nice. I grew up in NE Ga and may be relocating back to that area if I can convince my wife. She'd love this kinda stuff

I go to school at North Georgia. I would love to see a section for Dahlonega. Being new to the city, I don't know what is around to do...

If you're in Dahlonega, some great camping/backpacking/climbing/etc. is very near you. Find a friend or club at your school! I used to hike on the AT which is not too far from you!
