Do stop/visit our precious state to view what it takes to feed the world and look beautiful the same time from the mountains to the shores. At least before the change is completed.

Stop in Georgia for the Hospitality. Also good weather most of the time. Great Food from the Varsity in Atlanta to the Seafood in Savannah.

Athens --- The University of Georgia. Wide variety of people, places, and food.

I would also highly recommend Helen, GA and go tubing down the river.

Savannah is awesome, Atlanta is big and sure to please all types of people, Athens is a really neat city with some pretty fun history, Brunswick is a very nice place as well, and pretty close to the Okefenokee Swamp. Augusta is also a very historical city with lots of touristy things to do if you make a quick stop in town. Georgia is overall perfect. If you want a quiet relaxed vacation, go north georgia, find a cabin in the mountains and enjoy life, or if you want to keep busy, hit atlanta. If you appreciate the scenic historical things, with a little bit of beach thrown into the mix, savannah is your place.

coming out of LA you'd probably enjoy the North Ga Mountains the most.

Georgia has mountains, beaches, peanuts and peaches!
