I love WH!!! I have standing traditions to meet me closest friends there for a late night Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. Makes the rest of the holiday somewhat bearable to think about my late night chow-down
I love WH but the one closest to me has more insects than the city has people. Not really a place I want to eat. The WH has been written up for insect violations several times but I guess with the volume of people going in/out they cant really help that.
We looove WH here! Born and raised on the stuff. It's the only place I will eat grits from and my 4 year old even begs for it every time we pass one. No one can resist the waffles
Went to Nashville on business last year. Ditched the overpriced hotel breakfast and went across the street to WH and filled up. Should have gone the next day as well but made the mistake of going to Denny's.
best thing ever whether it's 4 am, 11 am, or 7 pm... Best coffee and for 1.25 I used to sit there for a couple hours studying in college and have all I could drink. But of course I'd get an all-star special afterwards. Their biscuits make for the best sausage egg and cheese sandwich you can get anywhere.
I sing every year for the midnight Christmas Eve service at my church. Several years ago the director established a tradition of hitting the WH after the service, a tradition I've come to look forward to all year!
