Any local brewers out here on Oahu? I just got to the island and might be starting up, we'll see how it goes.

Welcome! I am a brewer in Waianae. I have been on island for almost 3 years. There is an LHBS in Honolulu called Home Brew in Paradise. Has a pretty good website and decent prices.

Do they sell any micro brews? I am still debating on to start up or not. might be making moving again, not sure.

No, its a home brewing store. There is the Kona Brewing Company restaurant and brewery near you. They always have some great seasonals on tap.

I went to UH for college, there was a microbrewery in Waikiki called Brew Moon, not sure if they're still there but their moonberry wheat beer was very nice a drinkable without being overly fruity.

Im pretty sure they are gone now.. but there might be another brewery in the location-- maybe gordon biersch.

dunno, Havent been home in a few years.

many fond memories from brew moon though.. sad its gone.
