Knee brace

I installed floor covering for 40 years. A few years ago I tore a tendon on the inside of the leg just below the knee. Never could afford surgery. I need some kind of brace or wrap to hold it tight. Any ideas.

I know a lot of Marines that swear by knee braces. I wish I could give you more advice than that, but all I'd say is talk to a doc. Knee injuries are pretty common in the military, so I'd say if they use knee braces, they've got to be legitimate.
