Rain Water Collection

Anyone here running a rain water collection system?

We have a several barrels but I've wanted to do a larger reservoir tank.

Would love to see photos of your barrel/reservoir setup.

My parents have one that I built. They use it for irrigation water for the plants. no pics but its basically 4 10 foot 4x4 posts in a square pattern driven in the ground, with an upside down vinyl covered ply wood pyramid in the middle to collect water and funnel it into the 4-55 gal barrels in the center. I even plumbed the barrels together to a central spigget. I can make a paint drawing if you want

I love the idea of a rain water collection system but dont know how I'd make use of the water without it being pressurized. The grade on my property varies and I think it might be difficult to use it if its just gravity fed. Any thoughts?

put it in one of those carry around waterers, or maybe put it up high enough that it would gravity feed...

You could get a pressure sprayer, but I don't know what you're looking at using the water for.

My mom set hers up for her plants. She's got an enormous deck with plants all over it and a couple small gardens that she uses the water on. She just fills up old plastic milk jugs though.
