Katy Mills

Has anyone been lately?

Last time I went all the store were bare to the bone, I couldn't find anything worth buying.

Too far for me to drive. I'd have to pack a lunch AND dinner to get down there!

Is it really worth the drive out there? I have only been to the Bass Pro (well, that always makes the drive worth it I guess) but I have never been to any of the other stores.

Is it just a regular mall or like a outlet mall?

I like a few miles from Katy Mills and drop by there every couple months.

I think it is technically an Outlet Mall, but they do have a lot of "real mall" stores.

Bass Pro Shop and Sun & Ski Sports are the standouts for me.

My wife really likes the new Coach outlet store. They were handing out coupons (I think 20% off) for a couple weeks right after they opened. The purses are new, first run (not factory seconds) and typically much cheaper than you'd pay elsewhere.

I would recommend staying away from the food court though. I've never had good experiences with the food there.

Bass Pro is a good place to browse, I would suggest finding what you like and then buying online. Their prices are astronomical, which is why they are always expanding and adding to their store.
