Try Mel's Country Cafe in Tomball. I know its not really in Houston but they are always in the Texas Top 50 burgers. THE MEL BURGER........$7.95 - more than most people can eat or even split....

"1 POUND OF FRESH GROUND BEEF, 1/2 POUND OF BACON, 3 SLICES OF AMERICAN CHEESE & ALL OF THE TRIMMINGS" Add some japalenos and you will be in heaven.
Bring TUMS!!!

Or if you are really feeling crazy get the "THE MEGA MEL BURGER"..................$19.95

1 & 1/2 POUND OF FRESH GROUND BEEF, 1 POUND OF BACON, 1/4 POUND OF AMERICAN CHEESE , ALL OF THE TRIMMINGS AND THEN SOME. (IF YOU EAT THIS ONE WITHIN 2 HOURS YOUR NAME GOES ON MEL’S MEGA WALL OF FAME.)

I am on the wall....
Tim, 1999 - 72min.
