Any legal offroading in illinois other than the cliffs?

im lookin for somewhere me and the guys can go in illinois that is legal other than the cliffs, any ideas?

I haven't looked into it much - but always assumed I'd have to hook up w/ a club up around here, and then head north to Wisconsin.

I believe I read an article once on off-roading in southern Ill... (probably WAY south) that said basically, if there's no sign telling you NOT to go down a trail, it was ok!

I hear a lot of guys at work talking about Four wheeling it Attica, Indiana, never been there but it sound like it's a blast.

i have heard the same about attica,IN but have never had a chance to get there.... but i hope to give it a try soon

The Badlands are great in Attica. Ezmuddin.com is a new place in central, IL near Jacksonville. I plan on giving them a try sometime.

Sadly there isn't much in Illinois for offroading. There are a couple more options for ATV's and motocross but not many.

The Badlands is 15 miles into indiana on I-74 then 15 miles north. they have camping right on the grounds, or in the town of Attica. I belive there is 800 or so acres. Good place to go and only 2.5 hours from Peoria. If you were to google atving in Illinois you will find 6 or 8 places, mostly for dirt bikes or 4 wheelers.
