Badlands
Does it get pretty busy over the weekend in the Badlands? When is the best day to actually enjoy the trails, time of year too?

I've been on the busiest day of the year, labor day weekend. It was a blast because there is always a group to link up with. Plus you get to watch all the other kind's of vehicles. I went one day when there was nobody else around. Boring!

Redbird is another park I've heard about, never had a chance to trail that one yet but it sounds like a decent place to try.

I was just at the cliffs for the first time a few weekends ago and had a blast. My next trip is going to be camping at the badlands.

definitely want to check out TRJC. Great group that runs on private property. I used to be a trail guide for them, but sold my Jeep and got out of the club. Just got another Jeep and will be rejoining.

here . most of the offroad places in IL are targeted towards ATVs and dirt bikes though.
Badlands is in IN, not in IL, but definitelly worth visiting! it's my personal favorite

The Badlands are the best bet without heading way up North into Wisco or Michigan.

I myself have been asking this question for quite a while now. The cliffs is the only place I have found.
