Not much of a rib fan myself (too much mess, fuss for too little reward IMO) but I thought Carsons (been many years ago) were very good. I've had Famous Daves, good. The Patio in Bridgeview and Orland Park are decent but their BBQ Chicken dinner is very good.

I used to think so too (and I used to live in Oak Park), but... Smoque and Honky Tonk BBQ are BETTER.

Famous Daves is great and Texas Roadhouse is hit or miss.

However, when Texas Roadhouse is at their best, their ribs are to die for.

Smoque BBQ is AMAAAAAZINGLY good. The brisket melts in your mouth like butter. Best ribs in the city...trust me I've tried almost all of them.

However, if you wanna make the drive down to St. Louis Pappy's has the best ribs in the country.
