Very addicting! First you'll want meatier tires, then bigger tires, then a lift, then lockers, then axles to handle the lockers and bigger tires, then a bigger motor and higher gears to turn your bigger tires! It never ends!
yep
so, PGCI, what kind of Jeep do you have and what does it have?
I have a 2000 TJ with ~5" of lift, 35" Baja Claw Radials, D44's with ARB's and 4.88's
Used to have an XJ on 5" of lift, locked with 33" Bias Swampers
Nice! I currently have a 2009 Unlimited Rubicon with 1" lift and 35" swamper SSR's, and winch. I used to have a 1979 CJ7 on 35" SSR's, a 1999 TJ on 32" SSR's, a 2002 Grand Cherokee, and a 2005 Grand Cherokee on 32" mud terrains. I'm a Jeep nut. I would never trade my Rubicon, unless of course they come out with a V-8!

There already seems to be some argument in other threads about what constitutes Central Illinois. I live around Champaign....which has always been referred to by the media hereabouts as East Central Illinois.
I'm down around St. Louis, but I have been to Springfield... once, and drove around it twice.
Springfield is a one-horse town with a legislature, but I hope you didn't miss the Abe Lincoln Musem or the Old State House. Those two alone are worth the trip, just as you can pretty much ignore anything that goes on in the NEW State House.

I agree with the media. You are in Central IL but that would be East Central. Just like Quincy would be West Central.
I am in Central Central
