Roundabouts

One of you guys needs to post some pictures of what a typical Indiana roundabout looks like, because the few that I have the privilege of driving through up here are so much smoother on traffic flow than a standard intersection that there is no comparison.

A Roundabout is the same thing as a by-pass, a limited access high speed loop around or over the city. Right!

No, it is usually the intersection of 5 or more city streets and here there are usually yield signs for everyone, no stop signs.

Yah, here's a typical Montreal roundabout. This one does have traffic lights to get onto or off of, but it's in a major urban traffic zone.

The ones near here are a lot different from that.

Here is a picture of one I have to deal with frequently. It is smaller than some of the others I admit. The larger ones are easier to deal with but you still get thrown side to side going thru them. I find them uncomfortable at any speed. I drive a dump truck thru them mostly so the game of chicken is not a big concern for me...I do worry about the rest of you....lol
