the job situation is tough here, but not at bad as many places in the U.S.
for the most part, a nursing position shouldn't be too difficult to land. just might start on 3rd and work your way up. my ex-g/f is a nurse in management at Methodist. she worked for years at Wishard but due to cutbacks, her department was absorbed into another. even hospitals aren't imune from the economy.
if you haven't already, send out resumes to Community Hospitals (North and South) St Vincents and Methodist. I believe they all have good size cardiac units.
