Indy has invested a ton of money into the Super Bowl and if the season gets canceled there will be many feeling a big pinch in their wallets.
I hope the season doesn't get shut down, but I think it will be a lock out.

how does that sign read again.

"due to financial cutbacks, the light at the end of the tunnel has been shut off until further notice."

Everyday that goes by will make it harder and harder to make happen.

I wonder if this will have the same effect on the NFL as it did on the MLB when they went on strike. Its never been the same.

I drive through downtown everyday to get to work and now every time I pass the Lucas Stadium I remember the movie "The Replacements" after reading this thread.

Indy has invested alot in its cbd in the past 3 decades and the superbowl hopefully will be a great venue to show people what a great little downtown we have. I hope the lock out doesnt happen, it will be bad for the city.
