Golfing in the Inland Empire

What are some of your favorite golf courses. Why do you like them? I am looking for some new golf courses maybe I haven't heard of. A requirement is the green fee's must be moderate. I don't like paying $75 a round.

Are most of the courses down there pretty popular?

I know there are a couple that are. We have one called Eagle Glen in Corona that's usually pretty packed. Paradise Knolls here in Riverside seems to be pretty busy on the weekends too.

So I guess you can almost never just show up, and walk on and not have to worry about people in front or behind you?

I dunno really, I pretty much always have called and scheduled my tee time. I have had to wait for about 10 minutes before but it's not really too bad at Paradise Knolls. I think if you try to walk on Paradise Knolls without a reservation they make you wait for the next available tee time anyway.

There's one course I usually go with my dad to and there's usually almost no one there when we go. I'm not a very good golfer so it's nice not having the pressure of trying to not slow down because no one is playing behind us so I can try to take my time and focus on improving.

It usually takes me about 3 times to get on the green, and if the green is even at a slight angle...well that just makes it that much more difficult. I am proud to say I have only lost one ball in a water hazard or in the crazy deep rough forest

IN temecula valley there are several courses. I like to go to the Colony Golf Course because it is only about 20 bucks for a twilight round and is never busy but it is a very narrow course, but for the money I can't beat it.

a fantastic course to play that's also challenging is

Tierra Del Sol - California City by Edwards AFB..

Bruce Devlin designed this course and it used to be used for some PGA events, but not in a bunch of years..

pretty cheap to play also..

Green Fees
Weekdays Weekends
18 Holes $15 18 Holes $20
9 Holes $10 9 Holes $11

home-courseoverview: Tierra Del Sol Golf Course

enjoy..

Bob the pro is a great guy..
