Grothjc, not sure what kind of trails you are looking for, but you can always head over to the Conecuh National Forest near Andalusia which is also adjacent to the Black State Forest in Florida.

Go after a good rain and make your Jeep look good...

Not sure about west of Montgomery, but there is supposed to be one over in the National Forest near Tuskegee. I am hoping to go over there this weekend and see what they have.

Gray Rock

Never been to Gray Rock and it looks like you can only ride during scheduled events, but looks fun.

Cullman Al

Just talked to a co-worker. She goes to Stony Lonesome in Cullman. I have never been there but she loves it.

Morris Mountain

Now this one looks like a very reasonable and decent place. I have 3 brothers with Jeeps. May see if I can get them to join me here sometime.
