Just moved here. Great idea for a thread. I'm copying down the names, and my wife and I will have to venture out and check them all out.

I prefer Blue Boys on Norwood Ave. and there is 1 in Arlington at Ft Caroline and University.

I like the pizza by the slice deals at Pizza Palace, 1 in San Marco, 1 on King street 1 block south of Park st., and 1 by the park just north of 5 points.

Then there is the always packed when or which 1 I want to go to La Nopalera.

Best japanese steakehouse is KO KO's on 220 in Fleming Island

The cashbah is a great place.
Good food and hookahs. Its a real relaxing lounge type place. Decent amount of good beer to choose from as well.

Enza's in Mandarin is one of our favorites! Italian.

University Diner up in Arlington is a great place for "diner food"

And you can't beat beer & sandwich choices at European Street.

Singletons is a good place to eat out at the village of Mayport. It's just a shrimp and fish shack, but it's got history and great views of the ships coming in and out of the St. Johns.

Harpoon Loui's

I really love Harpoon Loui's off of St. John's Ave. They are a little neighborhood hole in the wall place but they have a great little patio and it's a very relaxing little hang out. Their buffalo burgers are awesome and so is their Summer Salad!

Where is Enza's? Are they expensive or more of a family type place?

Enza's is moderately expensive. I wouldn't call it a Family Restaurant although we do go with the kids. Vito's on Bay Meadows (Enza's cousin) is more family style.
They both have great food. Enza's makes the best Chicken Marsala I've ever tasted.
Vito's has Pizza for the kids and excellent Linguini with Clam Sauce.
