Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Hands down. If I ever end up on death row, I know my last meal will be a ribeye mid-rare, caesar salad, and baked potato from RC.

Unfortunately for my mid-section I get to eat at great steakhouses all around the country. One of my favorites is the Capital Grill Kona rub porterhouse. Started salivating just thinking about it.

I ordered the filet at the Copa Room in Lenexa last week and was amazed. I was not expecting the steak to be as good as it was.

Excellent steaks, and the baked potato is the size of a nerf football.

I used to love Hereford House, but after really horrible service twice in a row we stopped going.

Outback is decent, and we've typically had good, friendly service.

I was a huge fan of the Majestic a few years ago. I haven't been back since it closed and then reopened. They kept the name but, I understand it's under different management...

Hmm, I'll have to try some of these places. I had Jess and Jims years ago, but the steak was tough. Granted we were about the only people there at the time, so maybe the grills weren't warmed up.
