If you live in KCMO, there will be a Trader Joe's coming to the Ward Parkway shopping center in January. Not a Whole Foods, but in a lot of ways it's just as good or better.

Hen House isn't really a whole foods but is deffinatly an upscale style grocery store. Gets pricey at times but has everything you could ask for!

@kcsooner- maybe not on Trader Joes at Ward Parkway- having liquor license woe's b/c of city laws regarding residential areas and # of licenses.
Leawood is still getting one though, not sure when.

I think there's a whole foods on Metcalf around 91st street. But as said on a prior post, when Trader Joes gets here, try it out, it's pretty awesome.

I know there are several good Asian markets, but I'm not sure if you count those as 'Whole Foods' or not.
