We have tried the 4 wheelers down along K-53 at the river...biggest problem we had was finding a place to park the trucks. Where do you guys park down there that won't upset anyone?

I grew up near Grenola KS. Elk county i think would be a great place to open up a nice four wheel drive area. Its got hills and trees like crazy. I think the old quarry near Moline should be changed into a off road area. That would be a lot of fun!

From the entrance on K-53 to the trails, look to your east and you'll see a bunch of industrial buildings. Follow K-53 til you see the entrance to those buildings, then go to the very northwests building and park and then take the trail up to the entrance of the trials. Everybody parks there without people getting upset, and just rides along the trail that follows next to the road to the trials.

I used to wheel up at Tuttle creek (Randolph ORV park) when I lived in Manhattan. Always had a good time and it never was too busy.

I've been to both Tuttle creek ORV area and Kansas Rocks. Kansas rocks is nice because trails are rated for difficulty, and maintained by local clubs.

The Cat House in western Kansas. 2 miles east of shields on Highway 4. Private land has a lake and is 100% open to off road fun. There is a fee of $20. per person per day.
