I'm not much of a hunter so I don't have any real first hand experience, but I've been told that people from all over the country come here for trophy whitetail and other game.

Catfish and bass fishing are always good.

IMO, KS has the best beef

well if your into hunting, pheasant hunting in western kansas becomes a huge deal once a year

without a doubt ks is top 5 in the us for big trophy whitetails!

Wichita has a very nice traditional zoo and a super nifty new wildlife park (Tanganyika) where you can interact with some of the animals. Feeding the lemurs is the most fun.

Depends on your interests. Johnson County has a ton of shopping, the Legends in Kansas City, KS has NASCAR, shopping, and the Wizards soccor team.

I've been here 15 yrs and the only good thing i've found is duck and deer hunting!

Southeast Kansas has great deer hunting and the state as a whole has a great education system (although depending what city you live in YMMV). Also, nice homes in kansas are FAR less expensive that most areas in the country.
