So many places to stay in my wonderful Vegas city. Anyone tried the Caesar's PalacE? Living so close I rarely stay in the hotels, but every now and then for special occasions, I do. Went to the Mirage for my 21st birthday a couple months back, it was very impressive. One good thing about living so close are the travel rates
It has been so long since I spent the night there, we stayed at the "El Rancho" hotel, and that has been torn down for what, 20 years? Oh yeah, we also stayed at "Excaliber" on its opening weekend. Is that still around?
My wife's company had its' Christmas party at the Wynn this year and we stayed the night. Very opulent, with auto open/closing curtains, lights and a nice king size bed. Room was probably 600 ft/sq and the bath room was about as big as one of our home's bedrooms! Nice view of the Strip and city, too.
If you're only 21, check out the Artisan Hotel on Sahara. Very hip place. Great bar. On weekends, the party starts at 10PM and goes to 10AM. Good little hideaway!
My wife and I appreciate the "Palazzo". It is very well done in decor with attractive little shops in unusual places. The coffee shop and restaurants are top notch both in service and quality of food. It is interconnected with the Venetian and it is fun to walk over and watch the Gondoliers. We are not gamblers, so we are out on the strip strictly for a meal or to see a show or both. We LOVE the Blue Man Group and Rita Rudner. ......... NevSmith
