Going back to a hot slot machine

Anybody run real good on a slot machine and go back to it later that day or next day? Did you win again? Crash and burn? Somewhere in the middle?

I ruined this one machine yesterday which has 5 of the same game side by side; can't decide if I should try same one today or something next to it instead.

Keep going back til it stops. I kept winning at one machine in an indian casino in CA and kept going back for a couple of weeks and my girlfriend at the time and I kept winning. One week we went back and it wouldn't even give a dollar back so we stopped. Where EXACTLY is your hot machine?

since the Mafia moved out of the casinos in Las Vegas, and the corporations took over, the days of "free Play" are long gone,, those CEO's give nothing away!.. it is PURE luck now to hit anything, and they frown big time on it.. the Mafia kept a clean town.. gave away percs, no street peddlers, porno shops.. now... its a zoo...

As one who works in the industry, making games, I can tell you that no machine is any 'hotter' than the next and your chances at a big jackpot are the same every time you press play or pull the handle, regardless of the machine. No such thing as a hot machine only one that's catching up to it's manufacturer,s intended statistics over millions of plays. You only win when you cash-out.

mrlargo hit the nail on the head.

Every machine is controlled by some form of random generator chip that ensures it operates as fairly as possible.

The only read secret to winning is to select the proper machine and play them correctly - without making errors.

To give you an example, a mathematical cycle for some video poker machines is 1 chance out of 44,000 to hit a jackpot. It may cost $975 but, if you play everything correctly, you have a chance of winning $25.

What makes it worthwhile is what you get back from the casinos through their players clubs.
