This is a neat place to spend some time. They have about 200+ pinball games from all eras that you can play. I take the kids there and we play for about an hour and a half on 20 bucks. Lots of fun. It's neat to see all the old games, but they have newer ones too. They are located on the North side of Trop, just a little bit West of Spencer.
I've spent a lot of time there, dropping quarters into those wonderful bits of nostalgia...I even have a pinball machine at my place. I grew up with these machines and have never been without one in my house!
I love the Springs Preserve over at Valley View and 95. They have plenty of space to walk around and get inspired and offer great classes and landscaping consulting for water smart landscaping. I love their events too, starting next weekend they are doing a great holiday celebration but their last two wine and beer festivals were great too supporting all the local microbreweries and homebrewers
DrMarneaus, I have always been a drag racing guy, but just bought a Jeep a few months ago. It's a stock TJ and I want to have fun with it stock until I learn more about it. Do you have any light fun trails you recommend where I can take it?
Take a look at Nevadabackroader.com.

Hey, Dr., once, while travelling via Rt 15 So, to Cali, I saw something an Easterner has never seen. It looked alot of wind surfing on the desert. I had no idea what exactly they were doing. Would you maybe know?

Jane: The 'Wind Sailers' are just that; three wheeled sail boats for use on the dry lakes. There is a very active small group that sails both Roach Dry Lake beside I-15 and Eldorado Dry Lake just South of Boulder City. Do a 'google' search and you will find info on how to build one for your self and/or find someone in LV that will build one for you.
Eldorado Dry Lake is owned by BC and is designated a "Recreation Area". Roach Dry Lake is owned by Clark County and is the site of the next big jet airport for Clark County. As such they have been doing a lot of surveying out there so there are lots of survey stakes that are hard to see and could be dangerous. ........... NevSmith
