LIPA charging community for flags on poles.

Shelter Island had ones of their "sons" killed in action in Afghanistan last June. This week his unit came to town to show their respect for the support they gave them after LT Tenets death. The community lined the streets with American flags and now LIPA is charging them a "use" fee for attaching the flags to the poles. Are they kidding?

I can see that they do not want a Pole full of Nails and staples but The Flags on the poles. Only to be taken down later.. what's the harm.

I guess that Monoply doesn't kill us enough in Gas and Electric Rates.
