Congrats, however this might not be the best place to ask.

When I was on Long Island I ate here a few times. If I remember correctly the have all you can eat shrimp on Wed. and all you can eat crab legs on Thursdays. Not bad food and a pretty good price. And Coram isnt really that far from Sayville.
Good Luck and congratulations on the new baby.

Sea Basin in Rocky Point is supposed to be simply amazing, as its parking lot attests too.

Cladios in greenport is good. More of a summer/spring place do to it being mainly outside.

My wife worked at Nicky's in Bayshore. They have 2 restaurants. Nicky's Clam Bar and Nicky's on the Bay. I liked Nicky's on the Bay but it is mostly outdoor seating and is better during the summer months. I think they might be closed now. But Nicky's Clam Bar is open year round.

It kind of depends where you want to be going, Suffolk is quite large. Obviously Montauk has some of the best spots (Gurneys, Gossmans, Lobster Deck [seasonal], etc.), I've always heard good things about Popei's but I've never been myself.

If you want to go to the North Fork, Claudio's (in Greenport) is pretty much THE place, but as was said above it's really more of a summer place.

In Huntington the place would probably be Honu (atmosphere) or Kotobuki (for sushi).

Just a sampling but it depends where you want to go.
