Ronald Reagan Museum is in Simi, it's fun, but not really romantic. I'd check out the Hollywood Bowl. Romantic, awesome, and she'll love you forever.

Urth Caffe in downtown has a nice patio, is close by and is fancy enough to take a date if you coffee shops are your thing. Nice views of the downtown skyline too.

By the way, good call with the Hollywood Bowl. Definitely an excellent place to spend an evening.

And I'm a big coffee shop fan myself, so that would be another very good location.

I think that it depends on the girl, some might like a walk on the beach while another might like a walk throught the forest. In my opinion you have to do a setup date where you get some food or other place where you can talk and find some common interest. From there you can find out what she like and make a date idea from there... Just a thought

Does she like to travel? A good old classic date is a drive up the coast. How far you go is up to you. And I guess up to her.

The Stinking Rose is a good idea, except you might want to consider bringing lots of breath mints. Make sure to get the garlic ice cream. Fantastic on the taste buds!
