Disneyland vs. Disneyworld?

Which is better? Being from Florida, I've never been to Disneyland but I love Disneyworld, I can imagine the experiences are somewhat simliar (minus Universal Studios). What's the best thing about D-land, locals?

I've been to both. Disneyland is nice for a one day visit, but Disneyworld takes days to cover. Way too much to do and see in one day.

Disneyland is my favorite. Maybe it's a proximity thing.

i grew up in orange county and went to disneyland every year at least once until i was through high school. i've also been to disneyworld but that was when i was in kindergarten. i loved the epcot center cause it was different. as for the original disneyland its the best (only cause its the original) but even when i was a kid i thought that they were practically the same. Now a days they have 'california adventure' which is cool too but isn't worth flying across the country for.

Disneyland is WAY better for a day or two, but Disneyworld had a lot more to do, if one were to spend a week plus there. Since I can only handle so much Disney, I far prefer Disneyland.
