My brother and his family live in Canyon Country.
It is a wonderful place to raise a family and has the best of both worlds when it comes to small town vs. big city life!
If you post a thread in the California forum page and it gets enough attention we can see about adding Santa Clarita as its own forum!

I agree! That's my hometown. Los Angeles is close, but it'd be nice to have something more local. I've been making the same suggestion to Craigslist for years now also with no joy.

I live and work in Santa Clarita too. We have our own mall, two farmer's markets, three colleges and our own amusement park! Most every TV show you like was probably filmed at least in part here in Santa Clarita. We even have our own Walk of Fame.

I would say from 45 to 90 minutes depending on time of day.
It's about a 30 to 40 minute drive on the weekend or late at night.
