A trip to BBC might be in order. I'm here at Ft Knox for the rest of the week. I've already made a beer run to Jeffersonville to stock up on some New Belgium goodness. The lady at the liquor store thought I was crazy when I started packing $200 worth of beer to the counter. Stupid KY liquor laws....

+1 on BBC. Great place to grab a beer. Get a pint of their Heine Bro's Coffee Stout, or their American Pale Ale.

BBC has several locations, and they are all very relaxing places to grab a beer and just unwind.

IMHO Richos (NABC) in Clarksville and Nachbar in Germantown are the best. Huge beer selection, awesome atmosphere. Sergios isn't bad either (on Story): he has the best selection, but it is a challenge to keep track of orders.

There is a really good pizza/brew pub just over the IN line. Can't think of the name.

Brownings is really good, and so is the NABC across the river. I have buddies that rave over BBC, but the beers I've had didn't finish well, poor mouthfeel.

Dont buy BBC at the store. Its only good from the tap. Nextdoor to the BBC on Shelbyville Road is Brennans. That place is a great place to get some beer. They serve a new beer every tuesday i believe and they are usually good. And on whatever day that is you get to keep your pilsner glass until they run out. The food is excellent there too. If you go and get a bartender named kelli, tip her good. She is marrying my brother in April and needs the extra cash
