Favorite Maine Brewery/Brewer

What is the best Maine Brewer/Brewery. I like Sebago Brewing Company.

If wineries are included, my fav is the Winterport Winery. The Raspberry Rain and Berry Chocoate wines are incredibly tasty. It's funny, but I never could learn to like the taste of beer.

I would go with Sebago Brewing as well. For home brewing, the best place to purchase ingredients is Maine Brew Supply in Portland. The best place to purchase extreme brews is Downeast Beverage in Portland.

The Sea Dog in Bangor is supposed to be a good place for microbrewed beers. Not being a beer drinker I can't say from experience, but I've got friends who love the place.

I am not a fan of seadogs. Kind of an uppity crowd there. Worse they serve their beer piss warm.

Unfortunately they only brew pub in Bangor and really the only bar in Bangor that isn't a dive or a danceclub.

I think my favorite would have to be Pure Natural (I think thats their name) they are based out of Portland and their Nut Brown ale may be better than Newcastle (which is one of my favorite beers of all time)
