Four wheeler would get more use. We haven't had that much snow and the rivers still aren't frozen. As a matter of fact 3 snowmobiles just fell thru the ice last week.

Sled. The Jeep, when I get another one, is my spring-to-fall machine.

Just moved to maine this summer... snowmobiles came first. Got a tractor with a bucket when we got the house, so that takes care of snowplow duties and hauls wood out to cut/split for winter. Tons of things to do in the summer that don't need a motor (canoeing, kayaking, hiking, etc), and yes we have snowshoes, xc skis and snowboards, but the sleds were a welcome investment!

I grew up with four wheelers. Never had a snowmobile. Even though it was frowned upon to use my 4wheeler on snowmobile trails it was just too easy. I was young so I couldn't buy anything else but it was still a good time. Lots of great trails all over in Grey/New Gloucester area

ATVs

SnowMobiels are Useless unless you like getting stuck all the time in some godforsaken swamp or ditch and killing yourself trying to pull start thehe cantankorous nosiy beasts.

You can only use then a few weeks during the year If there is enough snow.

You cant haul dirt or cordwood with them and they dont have the power to haul a Moose or deer out of the woods.

ATVs can go most anywhere and haul ****. I have a winch on the front & back and made a dual Rifle rack and pull a Trailer on the back of mine for Manure, Firewood, Dirt and whatever else.

I also haul a Lime Fertilizer Spreader.

Im rigging up a Box Plow to be able to plow up a garden.

You can get lots more attachments for ATVs!

I haul my boat trailer around the yard with the ATV. You cant do that with a SkiDoo.

And the People who drive ATVs just are a nicer group of sportsman. Not Whiny, Yuppies.

And Yea I do drive my ATV in the Snow with no problem.
